until he has officially been named to an NHL roster it is illegal for them to have him in the game due to his collegiate career.

once the season opening roster update is applied he'll be there.
happened with Jack Eichel last year

he hasn't been added to my CBS Keeper League pool either, I expect it won't take long for the update to take place on both accounts

unfortunately for collegiate players the AHL doesn't count when it comes to the legality of using said players in the EA games. it's NHL or nothing

but we all pretty much know he's going to make the team
point is he'll be there once the regular season roster update is applied

the two D rookies I'm most intrigued by are Werenski and Provorov.

2 studs in the making.

Sergachev is going the a beast.

I also think that Kylington can still be a very good NHLer as well.

I appreciate the article, and the time Paul used to put it together, but in all honesty his point total does not matter to me.

What matters this year is how he plays with the puck in his own end. As everyone knows the CBJ gave up way too many goals last season, and if he helps that number go down that is what matters. While I understand his MO is as a puck moving defenseman that can score, his defensive play/improvement during the season is the thing he needs to concentrate on.
